In our continued efforts to foster environmental awareness, we delivered a series of workshops focused on the importance of coral reefs and the crucial role they play in marine ecosystems. These sessions were designed to equip both students and teachers with the knowledge needed to protect and conserve these vital marine resources.
Over the course of 20 hours, we conducted four workshops, reaching a total of 147 participants across the Bay Islands. The workshops covered key topics such as the ecological significance of coral reefs, the threats they face, and practical conservation strategies that can be implemented locally.
A highlight of this initiative is the involvement of our "blue schools"—schools that are dedicated to promoting marine conservation and environmental education. These schools play a pivotal role in spreading awareness and inspiring both students and teachers to become active stewards of the environment. By providing training in these schools, we are helping cultivate a generation that is not only knowledgeable about coral reef protection but also motivated to take action to preserve the rich marine life surrounding the Bay Islands.
"The objective is big. It is critical for children to love reading and open their minds to new worlds through books. Your work is bearing fruit."

"The program is one of major magnitude for the students. It helps bring reading into the home and it is very creative."
